About the Author Natasha Daniels is a child therapist and has worked with young children and their families for over 15 years. She currently works in private practice in Phoenix, Arizona. Natasha has her Masters in Social Work from Arizona State University and completed her postgraduate training at the prestigious Harris Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Institute at Southwest Human Development.

Great Guide for Parenting Anxious Toddlers By Mercedes Samudio, LCSW This book is going to be added to my recommended parenting books list for families! As a parent coach, I highly recommend this book for parents looking for reassurance that they are not imagining their toddler's anxiety. The practical solutions paired with the anecdotes are so useful for parents needing guidance on helping their anxious toddler. I particularly love the chapters based on issues like meltdowns, bed time, and managing fears! Natasha has really crafted an awesome book that sheds light on a common issue with toddlers that oftentimes gets overlooked!

Easy to read and very topical By Amazon Customer This book provides a very easy to understand explanation of the reasons behind some the behaviors of kids that can be confusing. I like that the book is filled with insight into the toddler's perspective and with actual stories to exemplify these issues, I can readily relate.I feel I am better prepared to respond effectively in more situations instead of being frustrated. This is a must have reference for any parent of young kids.

What I love about this book is the way it helps you understand how to help your child, but also how to handle your own emotions through the difficult process of navigating anxiety. With tons of case studies and approaches to handling a variety of anxiety inducing situations and triggers, the book is really comprehensive. From fairly typical fears (separation, the dark, monsters) to less common and more nuanced fears (letting go of things, dust bunnies, bouncy houses), the author gives detailed advice on how to handle what might at first seem like your child's "irrational" responses. More than just helping you figure out how to manage your child's anxiety at home, I like that it also delves into helping your child better interact with other kids and fostering independence.
