Lowry My 14 year old daughter read this book and I kept hearing loud peals of laughter coming from her room. She reads voraciously and kept telling me this was the best book she had read in a long, long time. My husband read it outloud to the family--we laughed often and cried together at the end. Such a good story about friendship, about wanting a father, about loving extended family, about being young, about being old. Please read this book.
