From the Author why this book It's 3 am in the morning,3:12 to be exact and I am here thinking, you've guessed it..:-).. naked unshackled thoughts. I am thinking about why anything is pursued. It usually is because of a need, to fulfill a need and often a want.I started writing this book sometime back and all along I have wanted it to be different and I was writing for the regular Joe and Jane...who at the end of a long frustrating day is asking...what am I doing..how is what is happening around me affecting me..why am I here..where am I going. That is what I have tried to answer in this book. I did not start by writing humor or anything else for that matter but it turned out so or atleast that's what I think..:-). I dislike labeling but if I was to label this work it would be in the genre of humor/self help but again I am not preaching anything. Every person is unique and I would not want to change that but I do hope regular folks read this book and get a perspective in life. I am often asked who is your target audience. This book is so different, are you sure this is a book at all..:-). My answer is it's possibly...40+ beer guzzling pot bellied balding middle aged men..:-)..who really have stopped caring..or it could be a teenager 18 or older who is just starting off in life and who can take in some advice (parents know how that goes..:-)..)..and also ladies who are chilled in life and can enjoy their drink and are not uptight..:-). Well you decide for yourself what this book is about. I am done, it's 3:35 am..:-).Happy Reading..enjoy the book.

I had to wait until I could drink beer, as the author suggested. You MUST read the preface.This is not your usual type of book--the author claims to have not written it while completely sober. He classifies it as self-help and humor genres. The author's name is Anno Nomius....I am guessing like Anonymous, which is hilarious in itself.The book is pretty funny! The author's thoughts do ramble a lot, but considering his perspective is funny. He touches on narcissistic people to change in the world to Area 51 to taking favors from folks and having to return the favors to the fact that eating salads make you unhappy to complaining about the weather to having to wait to relieve yourself in the bathroom.My favorite thought was Life is a bitch and you must accept it because you are not going to win the jackpot! I guess that thought aligns with mine as a realist.This was a fun and short read.

By Jennifer "Thoughts from a naked unshackled mind" is written in an unusual style, short turns of phrase that are thought provoking. This took me much longer to read than I had originally planned as I had anticipated the usual style of paragraphs and chains of thought. This style allowed me to read a few of the author's points and ponder my own views as well. Some made me angry, some made me laugh, but all made me wonder what provoked the emotion.Anno Nomius speaks their mind, which is refreshing. There is no subliminal message, it's all right there on the page to take in at your leisure and walk away with whatever lesson you choose to learn. I found it to be a gratifying read. It is cautioned you have a beer or a glass of wine in the forward, for some people, it might just help the words go down a bit easier. As I said before, I did find it refreshing to find an author that actually says what they mean and doesn't sugar coat it.

Other than reading the blurb, I went into it completely blind. And really, the blurb doesn't give you much to go on.What you get is exactly what the title of the book says. Thoughts. This book, if you can really call it that, is a collection of unfiltered random thoughts about random things going on in today's world. Basically, it's just a glimpse into someone's mind. It reminds me almost of a diary. Or if I might relate it to something modern, someone's Twitter feed.Thoughts from a naked unshackled mind was an interesting and quick read. I found myself agreeing on some things and laughing at others.
