H Being an avid reader, and one who is fairly picky on topics, A View from There took me down a road where my imagination of characters, and places was walked through in grace. From experiencing grief along with emotions we all have experienced in difficult times, I felt like I could relate, and learn, and be ministered to from the authors writing. That's not something easily done by any author of fiction writing..

There is something about a book that if it makes you laugh or cry. If it does either of these, then it is a good book. This book made be do both.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND.I couldn't possibly write a review that could explain how much A View From There moved me, affected me. The writing was graceful and brought the story to life. Within a couple pages, I quickly escaped to that small southern town and felt as though I knew the characters. I experienced each emotion right alongside Kate, Malcolm and Beulah Two - I hurt with the brokenness and rejoiced when hope was found again. This book captures real life, and I loved and enjoyed every piece of it - including the times I caught myself laughing out loud!
