About the Author Deborah Childs was the mother of two little blond boys when she met William at her front door. They were an unlikely couple before destiny intervened. Both were entrepreneurs who managed their own businesses; she a magazine publisher and he, the most professional house painter in existence. Childs is a writer and New Thought practitioner in Richmond, Virginia. She is also an advocate of taking charge of your health and, thus, your life.

By Vicki No one can imagine what it is like to face the daunting and unknown journey of what it feels like to be told you have cancer, and not know all the obstacles you will face. Each person's journey is unique, but Deb Childs shares her story in a way that anyone facing a similar battle can glean knowledge and compassion from......she puts a face on a subject most want to ignore. She makes us remember that cancer is about the many people it takes from us....and the tragedy of how the disease has become a big business that is cold and lacking in humanity and dignity. Deb brings the subject back to where it belongs.......the story of a man, the love of her life....William. Thank you for sharing.

Had to finish the book in one seating. The love story is about true love. You can tell from reading it that the author Deborah Childs is passionate about her journey of love and health issues. I am inspired to take control of my own health. Very empowering.
