By Suzanne Martin I have always been a fan of Monique Stubbs Hall, a woman who is the epitome of Ladihood!!! As I have adopted teenage sisters from Ethiopia, I have tried to teach them "The Art of Being A Lady," so when I read this easy-to-read pocket purse book, I was thrilled! You know, children never listen to their mother, so when they read this, it reinforces everything I have tried to teach them in the short 4-1/2 years I have been their mother. Thank you, Monique, for writing this book which embodies everything I believe about being a "lady."

Pentecost This should be on the required reading list for every mother or "mom" out there. If we had more young ladies and moms going through this material together, we'd have more empowered ladies in our society (and fewer "hoochies). The author's writing style is entertaining and informative. While it may be a quick initial read, the material beckons you to return for further reading and digestion. It is the kind of book that is designed to be read out loud, together with a teen or pre-teen - and mom won't look like a square reading it.
