I agree with the explanation that your "in love" state will blow over but then "real love" replace it, and that real love is a deliberate choice we make. It is so true, after the first year of dating and being in an almost constant love-high state, marriage and real love might follow and this is a start off an extraordinary journey that you choose.

It is easy to tell the author did some extensive research prior to writing this book. The book is well written and easy to keep up with. He gives some good pointers for having a successful relationship. I may not agree with everything he had to say, but overall he has a lot of good information for any relationship. I recommend this book for anyone who wants an educational yet interesting look at love.

I have taught a class using this material for about 10 weeks and it has been very well received. Everyone received a copy of the book and there has been a universal sense of having been greatly helped by the simple, but profound principles spoken of. This is an eye-opener for most people in our society whose concept of love is built on the shallow popular models of our culture.
