2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Sexy and Upbeat. By Kazza - On Top Down Under Book Reviews 3.5 Stars Rounded UpDane is a gymnast at Cornell when he meets a frat brother and feels a pull towards the computer smart, glasses-wearing Adam.'He’d known from that first meeting that he wanted Adam Kennedy in his house. Hell, in his mouth.'The feelings are intensified when Dane takes part in a dare of Justin Burns to strip down to his tighty whities and do a pommel routine. Dane is a bit of a daredevil, and a dare, with $20 at the end, only ramps things up. Justin snaps a pic and wants to put it up on the web as payback for a prank last year. The problem is, Dane’s an elite gymnast and the club and his parents won’t be happy with a picture like this out there. When Adam agrees to put the photo of the scantily clad Dane online, Dane isn’t so sure his initial gut feel about Adam was right. Adam is going to set the online pic up on a dummy site so Justin thinks it’s there but it won’t be visible to anyone else and it will cyber-disintegrate after he looks at it. Adam wouldn’t do that to Dane, he wouldn’t set him up, he knows what it’s like to have something bite you on the backside – and not in a good way. There is a reciprocal attraction of Adam regarding Dane and even though he isn’t out of the closet, he can’t help but find Dane attractive – he’s deliciously buff, as only a gymnast can be – and he’s unapologetically gay and proud. Dane totally owns it, including his pompadour hairstyle, and is always upbeat and charming. Adam, on the other hand, struggles after previously being hurt. But that doesn’t stop Adam from pushing a mutual masturbation session in his car in a Maccas car-park. Hey, it isn’t gay if you just masturbate together, right?Things develop even further between Dane and Adam, and it’s all kinds of sexy. But Adam is concerned. Not to worry though, it’s a nice story and Kimber Vale is a romantic at heart. She always provides just a bit of push and pull to add to the overall emotions and the story.Overall:I didn’t read the Love Has no Boundaries story that came out originally, but I think for anyone who wanted to read more – the Olympics, a HEA – it will be worth a reread. For those who like a jock/geek combo, this is a nice new read. I’ll be honest and say I’m not big fan of two college age MCs – I feel a bit old reading about them – but I read it because I do like K. Vale’s writing. The language at times is written for a younger demographic than me, and I think younger gay guys (in particular) will appreciate it. Dane and Adam are nice together, they’re hot together, and the humour had me snort out loud on more than one occasion. There is an epilogue which cemented a nice ending for this pair. Perfect for those looking for cute 'n' sexy, and quick and light reading. 3.5 Stars!

The author has added 7k to this story for publication. I never read the original so to be honest I cannot compare the two stories. But I can say Sticking It by K. Vale is a read that made me smile and couldn’t put the book down. I think K.Vale is turning out to be on my auto buy list because I am falling in love with her work so much.Dane Christakas: he has confidence, a lot. But being an Olympic gymnast he really has to have some of that cockiness. When the frat brothers dare him to do some gymnastics in his tighty whities, he agrees. Then realizes this could really hurt him later on. But lucky for him the guy he really likes likes him too. Enter in Adam.Adam: is the new kid. Dane really wants him. Shy geeky, computer genius. He offers to make Dane’s problem go away. With no strings attached. I liked Adam he is sweet, kind, and a little awkward too. These two are a very unlikely pairing but together they are just perfect. There are lots of moments in this book that make me smile, cheer, and really hot steamy moments too. This is the perfect college romance type of book. I liked the friendship they have too. Makes the romance that much better. When you want a romance that will make you smile this is the one to pick up.
