0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A genre-busting gem! By Crash course Jimmy Truly bizarre book, I can't think of anything I've read quite like this book. It has some amazing sequences, the story as a whole goes to a crazy place, which I don't want to spoil. What happens to the main character, his "transformation," left me a bit speechless. Really! I had to read the sequence twice to let it sink in. All throughout the book the imagery is extremely graphic, but well written. There is a a lot of hot and horrific sex, but it is interwoven into the plot and storyline, not simply gratuitous, but integral to the story. The last chapter blew my mind. I can understand why a book like this would never get published by an established publisher, it is at the edge of propriety, but truly a quality work, something totally different, which is saying a lot in this world.The genre is alternative history science-fiction/surrealism, but there is a lot of satire/horror/suspense and porn mixed in. I would highly recommend this book.
