Fun and Fictional with Simple Storyline By Young Mensan BookParade This book is about a mouse, Molly Twinkletail, who is always willing to help people. She runs into trouble when her squirrel friend, Woody Flufftail, asks for her help to go get some apples. She encounters an evil creature who is destroying an important tree in her community. Will she be able to save the treasure tree from destruction? With the help of her fellow furry friends, anything is possible.This book is a fun, fictional book. What I like best is how Molly Twinkletail is always trying to help people and putting others before herself. She’s very caring and a good role model for all of us.The author, Daisy Meadows, gently tells a message with this story. Even though Molly Twinkletail wants to help everyone, she needs to learn to not help the bad guys too. Stick only to the good guys.I’m glad this book is a series, because I think in general that readers enjoy adventures that continue. Daisy Meadows leaves the reader at a good cliffhanger at the end of the book that makes me excited to read more.I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5 because although it is a good book, it is a simple story line.
