Great story with a lovely theme, never give up on love By Melinda Great story with a lovely message, never give up on love.The characters are all delightful, I'm sure women will be able to understand Rachel's hesitation and initial cynical feelings regarding love. Her friends remind her to keep her heart open and luckily she listens. You root for Rachel from the start. Despite her tragic past, she forges on in an inspiring manner. Mason, intelligent but not too bright in the relationship and love department. With his past, I felt for his reticence and need for taking things slow. His patience with Rachel is endearing. These two respect each other's past as they build a foundation to love and trust again, their communication is awesome, especially when trouble visits. Of course among heroic friends we have two villainous players you love to hate.Great story and Peterson keeps you guessing at the final outcome. Full of ups and downs, high and lows mimicking any romantic relationship. Fun story all around, great theme with adorable characters.

By Bethany Rachel Thomas has not had much luck in the love department. It seems that every man she has loved has cheated on her and then has gone on to MARRY the women that they have cheated with! Talk about a slap in the face to any woman - I would probably swear off dating for the rest of my life at that rate!Then one night, they he is, Mr. Mason Conner.He checks several boxes are on her list. He's handsome, has a great job and is kind to her. What more could she ask for right? She really does feel like he is too good to be true, and after her past relationships who wouldn't be?Then it happens, Mason's Ex comes back into the picture and she comes back in FULL FORCE.The ups and downs and twists and turns will have you wondering till the last page what is going to happen!Will Rachel give her heart to Mason 100%, you will have to read and see!

When we first meet Rachel, she's recently out of a relationship that's gone sour. I think most of us girls can relate to Rachel and her apprehension about opening her heart to someone new. It's always a risk, and Rachel just doesn't want to get hurt again. When she encounters Mason Conner at a night club, she's attracted to him and curious about him, but then does that thing I'm sure many of us have been guilty of: gives into nerves and fear, backs away, and turns him down. Yep. Completely relatable.But Mason is intrigued, and Rachel has two best friends who truly care about her and look out for her. Because of one of those friends, Mason has a way to contact Rachel and he woos her until she agrees to go out with him. During the course of their courtship, we see Rachel grapple with old fears and insecurities, as well as define what she will and won't stand for. She also has to deal with an interesting twist involving a character who is completely crazy-cakes, making for a page-turning read to find out what happens next and whether or not she will truly give her heart a break and let herself fall in love.The characters are fleshed out and true-to-life, and so are the romantic curveballs. I received this book in exchange for an honest review, and I'm glad I got to read it. Overall, this was a really fun read, and I hope to see more from this author.
