Perfect English is a fun and frenzied read By Amazon Customer Pickering delivers a romping good story framed during conflict ridden years in Nicaragua. Twists in plot and an abundance of interesting and often not particularly likable characters keep the reader engaged. There is plenty of local context which anyone familiar with the area and its history will especially appreciate. The eating of Sandino scenario is outlandishly funny, and yet somehow verges on the believable. It makes the reader wonder what the author was consuming when he wrote it.
