Q – So, what makes the Remembering Raven series special? A – It’s a mixture of things, actually. When I started writing these books, I wanted to create a series of books that I would love to read. I love paranormal romances and vampire love stories, but I also love books with some action and a strong female character. I tried to roll of these interests into one series. The Remembering Raven books are a mix of romance, sex, longing, occult, and mystery. I also tried to create some really memorable supporting characters too, that I hope readers will enjoy. About the Author Lacey Edward was born and raised in Canada. She writes mainly paranormal romance fiction but enjoys throwing in a little mystery and suspense for good measure and to keep things interesting. Her first experience with vampires was the Barnabas Collins book she read in grade eight. She devoured it and never looked back – well, maybe over her shoulder once or twice. Wessel As an avid reader, it's exceptionally rare that I find myself unable to finish a book, let alone a whole series that I've invested my time into. This is one of those exceptions where at 75% through it the torture became unbearable. The lack of editing is usually not that big of a deal, as I realize a lot of the ebooks on Amazon are being self-published and the author may not be able to afford to have their work professionally edited - but this was taking it to another level where it was burdensome to try and get through each page...besides the storyline being incredibly boring and redundant the dialogue between the characters came across stiff, wooden and completely juvenile. It's a story that I can in no way recommend.

Even though it is the third book in the series, it still made since. However, I feel that it would be even better if read in order. It was very action packed. I can't wait to read the next one. I am definitely going to read the first two. Getting information out of Victor was like pulling teeth from a chicken. I'm glad Raven is giving him help.lol. Apparently, they are soulmates and always have been in other lifetimes.

The problem is that I read a book a day so it is hard some times to remember every thing about a book. So I usually go back and read other people's reviews and then it usually triggers my memory about the book. Not so this time, it left me confused. Most of the customers only mentioned one book, as if that was the only book that they had read--and yet, this review was suppose to be for the 4 book collection! And it was not always the same book that customers were reviewing--if they had the collection they didn't mention that the book they were reviewing was part of a collection.That being said I will tell you what I do remember about this collection. The whole series is based on a physic named Raven, who also owns an occult shop, and a handsome detective named Viktor. Together they solve mysteries, and all the while Viktor is holding back on his feelings for Raven. He has to--because of his dark secret that he is afraid for Raven to find out. She can know the secret just as long as she remembers it on her own.To give you an idea how good this series was, after I read book 1 of the series I instantly went out and bought the whole collection of 4 books. I don't normally buy that many books at once but I knew that as I finished each one I was going to want to go right into the next book--with no waiting! If you like paranormal books and mysteries, you will love this series.
