Each essay ties up its own ends while the book as a whole ties everything up well. This is an easy read but not sophomoric. As detailed in the description, she uses a variety of literary styles and what really makes this a fun read, she seems confident in presenting her brand as she rolls through each chapter. Even though made up of stand-alone essays, there is a connecting plot and a big surprise delivered in a single sentence. Highly recommended.

She leave you with some thought provoking moments. I enjoyed her writing style and look forward to reading more books by her. For the record I first bought the paperback and since I tend to misplace books I also bought the KIndle version so YES, I do like this book.
