A bit unrealistic perhaps but while sitting surrounded by snow and ice it was a great way to take a trip that i sure woudn't mind being on!I did sit with a smile on my face as i read Southern Sirens....finally took it to bed and snuggled under the blankets and comforter while i finished it , imagining being one of the 'girls' and as i slept i had sweet dreams of sun and sand thank you very much Alicia Dutton!
3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Alicia knocks one out of the park! By Jim Hinton I don't usually read "chick books". I am more of the Tom Clancy kind of guy. But, I picked Southern Sirens because I know the author (taught her in high school) and I was interested in seeing how she had developed as a writer. I was not in the least disappointed! "Sirens" is a delightful book that will be fun for every reader, regardless of gender!

I usually can't go for this kind of (usually) less serious chick-stuff, but my wife's chortling hooked me. I had to put it down a couple of times to recover my composure. (Little Princess?)
